R J Mitchell Primary School

Our year 5 & 6 football teams took part in a tournament at Harrow Lodge Primary School. Both teams played some fantastic football with superb teamwork and brilliant passing. Our boys secured a win and our girls had some fantastic draws and didn’t concede a goal to a team who beat every other team - they battled hard though tired and muddy! R J Mitchell was awarded not one, but two certificates for self belief - usually they are awarded to different schools, but the sports collective and referee agreed that our teams deserved both! What a proud moment! Well done R J Mitchell footballers - we look forward to more competitions in the new year!
