Children in Year 1 Ellis class are given 3 different reading books that they take home to read every week and must be returned on a Thursday to have them changed. These books are:
- a phonics book (from their phonics teacher)
- a free reader (a book for pleasure)
- a banded book (a book at the child's reading level)
In order to change their books, we need their banded books and free readers (that were given out last week) back tomorrow. Please make sure your child has these two books in their bags so they can change it.
