Children's Complete Beginner Cycle Training
These are suitable for children who have never ridden a bike or would like to come off stabilisers. Training will include basic instruction on balancing, pedalling and steering, starting and stopping, riding in a straight line, turning and changing direction. Courses consist of 1.5 hours of training in a small group of up to 6 children with 2 qualified instructors. Children are encouraged to bring their own bike where possible but a limited number of bikes and helmets will be available to borrow, subject to availability and fit.
Children's Improver Cycle training
Build confidence and skills! These sessions will focus on the basics of bike handling and control, building up valuable skills that help children to be confident in controlling their bike in a safe, off-road, environment. This course does not accommodate complete beginners or those who use stabilisers so please see our Complete Beginner courses if your child is new to cycling or uses a bike with stabilisers. Course consists of two hours of training in a group of up to 10 children with 2 qualified instructors. Children are encouraged to bring their own bike where possible but a limited number of bikes and helmets will be available to borrow, subject to availability and fit. Parents/carers of children under 7 are requested to remain within sight of the cycle training. Please collect trainees promptly.
